Join us for a meaningful conversation with Shalhevet Cahana, Yehudit Robinson and R’ Daphne Lazar Price on innovative ways to celebrate a Bat Mitzvah on February 9th at 7:00 PM. This webinar will explore thoughtful alternatives to traditional Torah reading, offering ideas that can be adapted to a wide range of communities and resources. We’ll discuss options such as women’s tefilla services, art-based celebrations, and alternative rituals, all with an emphasis on creating age-appropriate, meaningful experiences. The conversation will highlight the importance of grounding celebrations in Torah, fostering ongoing Jewish learning for girls, and making the Bat Mitzvah a powerful bonding experience between the child, her parents, and her teachers. We’ll also address how to support parents as they navigate these important decisions and balance tradition with modern approaches.
