Elie Holzer has received rabbinical ordination, and holds a Ph.D. and Masters degree in Jewish Thought from the Hebrew University. He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Education at Bar-Ilan University and as Senior Research Associate at the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis. He is co-founder of Shira Hadasha Congregation in Jerusalem.
