A recognized leader in family law, Jackie has a multi-faceted background, with a JD in law and a graduate degree in Behavioral Forensic Psychology & Family Systems Therapy. She adeptly handles all complex issues of divorce, custody and support, and is well known for her accomplishments in family law. Recognized as a skilled and effective trial and appellate advocate, Jackie nevertheless believes that a negotiated settlement is often the best strategy, especially if there are minor children and co-parenting is desired. Her approach is responsive and client-focused. She emphasizes respect and compassion, guiding her clients to a holistic and cost effective resolution in their divorce that is in their best interest. Jackie recently attended the Agunah Summit at Fordham Law School (June, 2018) as well as a career training at JOFA (August, 2018). Among her many accolades over 20+ years of practice, she was chosen to New York Metro Super Lawyer for seven years in a row, and repeatedly listed among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in New York. She was top rated in family law by the New York Law Journal and ranked AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell.
