Chumie Juni

Brown University

Chumie is a doctoral student in Brown university's department of Religious Studies, working on her PhD in Jewish Philosophy and religious ethics. She received her BA in Philosophy and Biology from Stern College for women and her MA in Jewish philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. She is an alumna of Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS), and has studied at the Drisha Institute (NYC) and the Center for Modern Torah Leadership's Summer Beit Midrash (Sharon, MA). She currently lives in Providence, RI with her husband Mayer Juni.
