Orthodox Jewish women may face the double pressures of the halakhic concept of tzniut, or modesty, as well as society's rampant attention to and portrayal of women's bodies and body presentation. The materials in this section discuss how the traditional virtue of tznuit interacts with the values of contemporary society to create new challenges for young women.
