The International Rabbinic Conference on Agunot and Mesuveret Get was scheduled to take place in Jerusalem on November 7 and 8, 2006. The conference was convened by Chief Rabbi Amar and was scheduled to discuss systemic, global solutions to ending the iggun problem. Pressure from ultra Orthodox leaders caused the conference to be canceled.
